To the field installers hard work, attention to detail and down to earth personalities. They had a great attitude and determination to see the job through, regardless of the challenges they had to overcome. I can’t thank Malama Solar enough. Our sales rep Karson was amazing. Met with us twice to answer any of our questions and really listened to our concerns, he is very knowledgeable about solar systems. A few days later, we proceeded with insulation. They made everything seamless and so easy for My husband and I. Cheryl was the best! I must’ve asked over thousands of questions and every single time She was so helpful and took the time to explain the approval process and the following steps that will be taken up until the day of insulation. The crew members who came out to do my insulation did a phenomenal job and I’ve had no issues or regrets since Making this purchase. I highly recommend this company if you want transparency, efficiency, and a company who cares for their customers.

Important! Make sure to monitor your own system daily. Been a customer of theirs going on 5 years.
Sept 2025, I had an inverter issue. Malama detected it after it being offline for 3 days, contacted me and sent a tech out to fix it. That was great.
Fast forward to April 2026…inverter issue again. This time, we found out cause our last 2 electric bills were sky high! Contacted Malama and was told it’s been offline since mid Feb 2026! I asked why they didn’t detect it, and they said it’s the customers responsibility to know if their system isn’t functional.
Update 04/22/2026: Received a hear felt and honest response from the owner. Much mahalos. Will update once system is back online.
Update 04/28/2026: Malama Service team was punctual and fixed the failed inverter today. Solar is now functional and I am no longer relying on the grid!

I closed on my house in early November 2025 and wanted to get solar installed before the 2026 New Year. Contacted multiple companies and was told it would be impossible to do or was just blown off. Malama completed the project by mid-December which was under 30 days from 1st contact to the installation being complete. Super professional, quality installers, Karson was available to answer all of my questions and Pat went above and beyond to make sure this was completed on time. If you're looking to install Solar Malama is the company you should go with.
