We went with RevoluSun about two years ago for install of new solar PV and battery storage. Overall, we are disappointed and do not recommend them. We decided on RevoluSun because of their size and longevity, use of W2 employees, and warranty. After the sales agent passed us off to the rest of the company, our experience has continued to deteriorate. Throughout installation we almost never spoke to the same person twice. We had a ‘Project Manager’ who came to the house to take measurements and I believe drew up our system. He gave a long list of additional equipment we needed with a mostly unsatisfying answer as to why it’s needed or why it needs to be located here or there. I have experience with electrical distribution systems and reading electrical/construction diagrams and was able to "approve" our design. A customer seeing these documents for the first time would not be able to. Once approved, we never heard from the project manager again. On install day, the crew attempted to install several pieces of equipment in the wrong places and attempted to install a few pieces of incorrect equipment. The crew did not have our plans on hand and did not appear familiar with them at all. Post installation we had several outstanding install concerns which were addressed by an electrical supervisor visit to our satisfaction. In the almost two years of operation we have been greatly disappointed with our system reliability and RevoluSun’s service. We have power optimizers fail regularly, I check my monitoring app daily for failures as RevoluSun provides no regular monitoring. With a failure I need to call and no available phone numbers lead to anyone local. All numbers go to an offshore call center, which has been one of the worst I have ever interacted with. The agents at the call center refuse to transfer me to any other agents, their supervisor, or anyone local. They agree that a component has failed, and submit a warranty claim for replacement. They then say it will take 2-4 weeks for the part to arrive. Four weeks later, I call again and am typically told ‘the part arrived yesterday, we will push this to the scheduling department and they will call you to schedule in 1-2 weeks.’ I typically call daily at this point. It is unacceptable to me to spend 4 weeks waiting for a part, 1-2 weeks waiting to schedule, then ANOTHER 2-4 weeks for an appointment, as they tell us to anticipate. This ordeal results in approximately 6-8 weeks of system degradation for every failure. We have also had a few software issues and roof leaks resulting from optimizer replacements, all with similar sagas. When our parts and labor warranty runs out it will probably be cheaper to replace our system with a new company than pay whatever unknown amount RevoluSun will charge us for each equipment replacement. When techs do finally arrive, they are respectful and professional. They are mostly removed from the call center, but hear it from every customer. In summary, could we see into the future we would have used a different company.

Quick installation for my solar and new AC. However, my almost 2 year old AC unit cut out. Called for service. A day or two later, I receive an email saying we are almost ready to schedule your appointment. In hawaii heat. Extremely unsatisfactory. No one has called to find out what is going on with my ac or we will be out there soon or a couple of days.. nothing. Everything else is good. Repair service sucks.

Revolusun by far out shines its competitors. We are pleased with their superb customer service, superior workmanship, and cost efficient products. Ari, Elijah and the Revolusun team exceeded our family’s expectations. Revolusun’s customer service used to be amazing- that’s why I went with them 3 times .
Now they have switched to a Filipino call center base- absolutely horrible- I can’t get anything done or fixed- they have no idea what’s going on with my system.
The technicians that work for them are still great- if I can ever get them out… this was a horrible cost cutting measure that mgmt chose- they need to go back aaap or they will lose a lot of business

My RevoluSun experience with installing our first set of PV panels & back up batteries has been exceptional throughout the entire process. Everyone we worked with from our initial inquiry to finish were professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. We are happy with our system. Thank You Ian, Kamana and the entire RevoluSun team!
