Jennifer Peele at Royal Realty was absolutely amazing in helping me sell my condo in Aiea. Even in a slow market, she got the job done. Jennifer was always responsive and kept me informed every step of the way. Since I was out of state, she took care of all the details and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. One of their realtors Michelle asked for $100 “admin” fee to her private Venmo, on top of the $40 application fee paid through the online portal to add someone as an occupant. She initially approved the occupant and then months later returned the fee saying “denied” once questioned, watch out for scammy practices. If they ask you to pay an extra $100 fee, just try to double check it’s a real, legal fee.
Michelle also falsely marketed the rental as a fully furnished apartment with roof top amenity. The apartment turned out to be partially furnished and had no roof top access.

I have a strong feeling they motivate people to pay an application fee and run with the money. I contacted Royal Realty to see a listing. When I got there, I was shown the property by a man that admitted he did not know anything about it nor work for the company. Afterwards, I was told to text a "Jennifer" because she was too busy to take a call. I was then told to fill out an application on the Royal Realty website, which I did. The property was taken off the market less than 24 hours later. I very much felt like my application wasn't even considered or seen. I also found out that the application fee goes directly to Royal Realty. My advice is to NOT view apartments listed by Royal Realty. I disputed the charge on my credit card but they are fighting it which prompted this review now. Overall, my opinion is that this is an unprofessional and inconsiderate company that uses the pressures of trying to find a place to live in Hawaii to exploit people via application fees. There are plenty of places out there with free applications.

jacqueline is our new property manager in Royal Realty, but l've known her for years--back when she quickly resolved issues for us while working with the former property manager. From the start, l've deeply respected and admired her. She is not only a genuinely kind-hearted person but also incredibly generous and someone with great integrity.
As a property manager, she is exceptionally responsible, and as a company manager, she demonstrates strong leadership and vision. She truly cares about her clients. When we were looking to rent out our house last October, she went above and beyond to help us secure reliable tenants, ensuring our home wouldn't sit vacant through the holiday season. She never saw our necessary major repairs as an inconvenience or a complication to managing our property. Instead, she actively helped us find suitable contractors. Although we ultimately went with a contractor recommended by a friend, her expertise was still incredibly valuable to us. Her dedication and effort meant so much to us, and we trust her completely.
I highly recommend Jacqueline to any homeowner in need of a property manager. However, she keeps a very busy schedule, so I'm not sure how many new clients she can take on. That said, if she can't personally manage your property, I have no doubt she will connect you with the best fit within her company.

Outstanding property management company.
I had the pleasure of dealing with Royal Realty and more specifically Frances Sagun for the past two years. Frances was outstanding and always went above and beyond if an issues ever arose. She was quick to respond to any work orders or concerns we had and always communicated well between myself and the property owner.
I highly recommend Frances and Royal Realty for any realty needs you may have!
